MS Vaterland in Lubmin

Very small menu, all relatively average

Restaurant? No! More like a snack with only 2 fish dishes (excluding herring herring). Nevertheless, high-quality & nicely prepared food with very tasty fried potatoes with bacon & onions. Service nice. Unfortunately, I am disappointed with the very small selection of fish! Tip for the operators: at least 4 different & good fish dishes give good reviews & attract more customers 😉

Nice little port with an adjoining campsite. Has something of the Mediterranean. But without the restoration here it would be really boring. Small menu but tasty. Highly recommended and reasonably priced. We like to come back here, but only because the food is delicious. 😃

We wanted something warm. The waitress took our drinks, but did not point out to us that there was only food from 5 p.m. The menu says that there is hot food from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. And it was already there 4:45 p.m. when we got here.

Gives delicious fish rolls. Service super nice and catered to all requests. Really great there. Otherwise, the card is good middle-class.

Recently stayed there with my son and friend. Is a quaint, quite small but cozy "barge" with very friendly service. At the time of our visit there were "only" fish rolls on offer, but they were a good size and were really tasty. I would be happy to come back and try the warm kitchen.

Hygienically catastrophic in the times of Corona. "Wear a mouthguard" is on the door. None of the guests who move in the interior carry you. "Why should I?" one wonders ... After all, the waitress doesn't wear any. And it probably doesn't interest anyone either. Just as little that the tables have to be disinfected after leaving. Sometimes I wish for a second wave and hope that it will hit the right people.

Friendly service, but deep-fried schnitzel and fried potatoes that float in the fat.

We were there for coffee after a hike, very nice service, good cake, nice atmosphere, really cozy, hope that Corona is open again ..

The MS Vaterland, built in 1942, is a ship with a lot of history and excellent food.

Not recommended for people with egg allergies. The declarations on the menu are not safe! (Small mixed salad with egg, it didn't say) The understaffed, but always friendly waitress had the fries with mayo taken from the plate when the wrong delivery was made and brought the same fries with mayo leftovers back to the allergic child. Only ketchup means ONLY KETCHUP! That's just not possible.

Good kitchen. Nice service. Somewhat understaffed at rush hour. Great view of the harbor in the evening.
